Casting Director (Principal & Background). Marie was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, with a cultural background of African American, Native American, Spanish, French and Russian. She has worked in the entertainment industry for over 35 years, starting as a commercial actor, then moving behind the scenes as the owner and senior agent of BC Extras Agency in Vancouver and Victoria, BC.
In 1996, she moved on to work as an Extras Casting Director, and later, Principal Casting Director and Producer. Altogether, she has worked on over 100 projects, encompassing feature films, TV movies, TV series, commercials, short films, corporate and music videos. She has also produced music concerts, fashion shows & print advertising.
