Eli Haligua
Supervising Sound Editor Re-Recording Mixer
Eli Haligua was born and raised in Istanbul, a city that connects Asia to Europe. His sound career started at an independent non-profit radio station. After six years of broadcast experience, he switched his focus to the motion picture industry and forged an international career with projects from Turkey, UK, Canada, Germany and the US.
He worked as a Sound Designer/Re-Recording Mixer for the feature films screened at international film festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Montreal, Karlovy Vary, Sarajevo, SXSW, and Sitges.
Eli graduated from SAE Sound Engineering School with honours and also he studied Digital Music Production at Langara College. He holds his Master's Degree in Sound Technologies from Bahcesehir University, where he wrote his thesis about the effects of Dolby Atmos on the sound designers' approach in Turkey.
