Jeremy Stewart

Jeremy Stewart is an award winning animator with over 20 years experience in the film industry. Born in Vancouver BC Canada Jeremy is a first generation Canadian. His mother immigrated from Trinidad and Tobago, and his father from Northern Ireland. Jeremy graduated from Vancouver Film Schools Animation and VFX program in 2000. Before film school he spent several years working in residential construction. Although he is a lifelong fan of Animation and Film, it wasn't till after high school and a few years of searching Jeremy rediscovered his passion.
His long list of credits include Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp, Pacific Rim II, Jurassic World, Happy Feet and many more. Throughout his career Jeremy also found ways to combine his passion for VFX and filmmaking by not only making short films, but also donating his time to make commercials and films for nonprofit organizations.
From his own indie productions to supervising large animation teams on blockbuster films, Jeremy has worked on a diverse range of projects that vary in both scope, scale, and style. He has gone well beyond the role of animator to edit, produce, and direct numerous productions. As a co-founder of Animism Studios and Animism Productions, Jeremy has again combined his passions for filmmaking with creating high quality animation and VFX.
