Garth Collins is an Executive Producer with Dearfriend.tv based out of Vancouver, BC.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta to a Fijian Mother, and Canadian Father, he grew up playing hockey as most Canadian kids have a tendency to do. He fought (literally) his way into the WHL, and realized he wanted to use his brain instead of his fists moving forward with his life. So he enrolled at the University of Alberta, received his B. Com with a major in marketing, and moved to Vancouver to take on the world.
He met his future business partners the first year he landed on the West Coast, and 6 years later, remains as an Executive Producer with one of the fastest growing production companies in Vancouver; Dearfriend.tv. He heads up client relations, business development and overall strategy implementation.
Garth’s role in a team setting really hasn’t changed much these days. Whether it was making room on the ice for the star players to score goals, or making mental room on set for the creatives to create.. It’s all the same thing really!
