Her ability to manage multiunit shoots with both creativity and precision has earned her widespread respect in the industry.

Another career highlight is her documentary ‘In Love with a Problem’, which addresses plastic pollution and is currently broadcast by CBC and Telus. The film has won Best Documentary and Best Direction at festivals including the Leos and the BC Environmental Film Festival, and screened in NYC at the New York Wild Film Festival alongside Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning films. Her work is driven by a commitment to amplify unseen viewpoints and broaden understanding particularly through a woman’s gaze, both in front of and behind the lens Julie lives by the Confucian saying "Choose a job you enjoy doing, and you'll never have to work a day in your life," bringing genuine joy to every project she takes on. Julie is excited to align with Talent Managers, Director’s Reps, Executive Producers, and Producers who also love what they do, and share her love for filmmaking, creativity, and innovation.
