Grace Alvarez
Art Director
Grace Alvarez is an Artist, Art Director, Photographer, Graphic Designer and Writer.
Grace was born in El Salvador, raised in the Okanagan, and now lives and works in Vancouver, BC. She translates these varied experiences by using a wide range of artistic mediums and collaborations.
Prior to working in the Film Industry, her career as a Social Worker was comprised of several positions assisting survivors of physical, verbal and sexual abuse. Having both lived and worked in the heart of the Downtown Eastside herself, Grace's art explores a variety of topics from broader human rights to individual heart break.
Currently Grace balances her time working in the fast paced film industry with carving out slower deliberate time to find creative ways to use art as a tool for individual and political change.
