Antonio Cayonne
Actor | Producer | Entrepreneur
Antonio Cayonne is an actor, arts-activist, restaurateur and producer based in Vancouver, originally hailing from Toronto. As an actor Antonio has spent years acting in and producing for theatre, specifically focused on new theatrical works by exciting young playwrights and directors in Toronto. He has since shifted his attention to film and television, having created a small niche for himself in the world of Hallmark as a leading man and supporting lead. Hallmark credits include Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing, Appetite for Love, A Dash of Love, and It’s Christmas, Eve.
It’s Antonio’s community-based work that drives his day-to-day most readily exemplified by co-founding Project: Humanity – an arts organization that raises social awareness of inequity and serves communities through education and creating access. Antonio’s commitment to serving the communities within which he resides has seen him spearhead initiatives, create and execute teaching modules for youth, and serve as both consultant and advisor on various committees. He extended this same energy into his restaurant group, Collective Hospitality, by creating and launching the Staff Meal Initiative during the recent pandemic to address food insecurity.
