Alexander Farah is an Afghan-Canadian director and editor currently between Vancouver and Toronto. His editorial work has screened at Berlinale, Telluride, Clermont-Ferrand and Palm Springs, as well as scoring prestigious wins at VIFF, the Cannes YDA and the Kinsale Shark Awards.
His short form work, both as an editor and director, lives online through platforms like Nowness, Director's Notes and Vimeo's Staff Pick Premieres. His commercial work has led to collaborations with Lululemon, Doc Martens, Le Labo and Bosa Properties. Alex’s first directorial short film "Sahar" premiered at TIFF, while his last directed music video "Meet You At The Light" won the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Choice Award for Best Music Video at SXSW 2022. Alex's editorial feature film debut "Pussy" is world premiering at TIFF in 2022.
