Alexandra Lainfiesta

Born and raised in Guatemala, Alexandra is a Latina actor and writer. She works both in professional theatre and film. In theatre Alexandra has worked across Canada, most recently with Theatre Gargantua (Toronto), Neworld Theatre, Bard on The Beach, Electric Company (Vancouver), and the Stratford Festival (Stratford). For film, she most recently appeared in Netflix’s Love Hard and in Lifetime’s Doomsday Mom. As a writer, Alexandra has been developing her first full length play “Bella Luz” as part of the 2021 Arts Club’s Emerging Playwrights Unit and Rice&Beans Theatre’s DBLSPK. Her first short “Cracked Open” is heading into production this December and premiering in Spring 2022.
Alexandra is the recipient of a Jessie Richardson Award for Best Actor in a lead role. Her training includes the Canadian College of Performing Arts, Studio 58 and Stratford’s Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre.
