Born and raised in Mexico City, Farhad is a Mexican-Iranian cinematographer and occasional director based in Vancouver and working internationally.

Thanks to the support of his community, friends and family, he’s managed to pick a few accolades here and there, including the Canadian Society of Cinematographers Award (2019) and a Gold Screen at the Cannes Young Director Award (2020).
