Everything I do is influenced by the people I surround myself with, and the rich cultural experiences I have had both at home and while travelling around the world.
Being raised in Vancouver, born in Hong Kong and coming from an Indian and Persian heritage - diversity is an important value that I hold. It is one that inspires me, and encourages me to continue learning whenever the opportunity presents to immerse myself in new cultural experiences. I’ve been working in photography and advertising industry for over a decade now. In particular I work closely in adventure photography - a travel segment that often does not feel represented by a diverse group of people. Having diversity in creators leads to new perspectives, techniques and insights. By working to ensure representation of all ethnicities and demographics in creators, I believe we open the possibility of seeing the world in new and important ways. Representation and diversity within content is also something I stand for, and ensures that all individuals feel seen.
