Broadus-Mattison
Actor | Director of the UBCP/ACTRA Executive Board
Broadus Mattison was destined to live a life of exploration and curiosity, ever since his mother told him that it was better to wear out than rust out when striving to complete one's journey on the road of life.
Born in Baltimore, MD and raised in the values and traditions of the American South, he took on his mother's secret to living a life of consequence and commenced on his own season of discovery.
He has been blessed to experience a life full of adventure and wonder as a Naval officer, librarian, educator, and police.
His journey has taken him from the streets of Charm City to The Great Pyramid at Giza; from Hadrian's Wall to Hadrian's Gate; from the peak Mont Faron and on to the green spaces and majestic views of British Columbia.
Broadus lives and works within Bruce Lee's philosophy of 'Be water, my friend.' This is embodied through a joyful, disciplined, team-centered approach to storytelling. He continues his journey of discovery as an actor, using his skills and life experiences to tell rich stories that reveal the fullness and
complexity of the human experience.
He hopes that his journey along the road of life will be an offering to everyone, everywhere. ~B"
