Filmable X Collective Bunch

Collective Bunch and Filmable hosts an anual curated industry party to celebrate and elevate the local filmmaking community during VIFF. We shine a spotlight on the local filmmakers programmed at VIFF and make a fuss over the immense talent of our home-grown industry. Through a variety of initiatives supporting emerging and underrepresented filmmakers spearheaded by Filmable, Collective Bunch & VIFF, the efforts pay off culminating in the industry party of the year. Of the 400+ guests we have emerging creatives, industry veterans and international guests, connect over drinks, music, and iconic street food.

We teamed up to give 4 aspiring directors the chance to step into the director's chair for an exclusive workshop. Hands-on mentorship, full production crew, and post-production support—all in one week!
