Jaryl Lim
Cinematographer
Born in Singapore, trained in London and now living in Vancouver, Jaryl is a cinematographer with a global outlook on visual language. Along with a passion for storytelling and a solid understanding of art and photography, collaboration is central to his creative process. Jaryl’s narrative work has been screened in film festivals internationally, including the award-winning feature, Love Possibly (2018). Jaryl is currently in pre-production for a Telefilm-funded feature.
As a Chinese-Singaporean who lived in Europe and now Canada, Jaryl is confident that the myriad cultures and influences from the BIPOC community will only serve to enrich, but is acutely aware of the challenges that BIPOC people face in this industry. He strives to be a positive example and very much enjoys working with a diverse crew.
