Ugo Nwachuku
Actor | Writer
Ugo Nwachuku is a 29 year actor and filmmaker. Growing up in Nigeria and living in different parts of the world (i.e. Bahrain, Seattle, Philadelphia and Boston), Ugo has amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge. Ugo was fortunate enough to travel to these different countries to further his education in science and engineering, however he maintained a vested passion in the arts and trained himself in acting, creative writing, screenwriting and filmmaking. His passion for the arts took him on tours in Pennsylvania performing Shakespeare, hosting gallery nights displaying his paintings and acting in smaller independent projects. However, the passion he has in the arts subsumed his ability to maintain a career in engineering, and so he was not able to maintain a career as an engineer.
Since this year, Ugo has been working as an actor and has booked multiple roles considering the strike. In an attempt to control his destiny in the film industry, Ugo put on his filmmaking hat and used his networking ability to amass a crew to work on a small passion project for a short horror - Listen Close.
Ugo is excited about the future and the work he can create. He is motivated to create and be part of entertaining, impactful material that has lasting effect on the future generations to come; this is what excites Ugo about Art, the potential to create timeless work.
