Inder Nirwan is the founder of Kahani Pictures, an impact storytelling company based in Vancouver B.C. His work primarily focuses on uplifting diverse community voices through beautiful and emotional documentary films. Inder’s impact films have contributed to campaigns resulting in real-world change, like the film TROPHY (2016), which was used as a conversation starter around the issues of hunting grizzly bears for sport in British Columbia, which has been banned throughout the province since the release of the film. Kahani means “story” in Punjabi, which is the language of Inder’s family and people who are originally from Punjab, India.
