Heron has spent more than two decades in broadcast media in Canada. He has worked in television and radio newsrooms across the country in roles ranging from anchor, assignment desk producer, segment producer, director, reporter, digital/social media director and host.
Heron has built award-winning online and mobile platforms and social communities for CTV News has acted in films, hosted radio shows, worked for digital start-ups and mentored students.
As a Digital Storyteller, Heron helps clients find stories inside their organization that will resonate with their key audiences, both internally and externally.
Heron has worked with a wide variety of clients and projects as a consultant, producer, director and social media strategist in the following industries: energy, technology (Fintech, start-ups, 3D scanning) non-profits, charities, B2B’s and local government, retail and entertainment.
Heron’s storytelling takes on many forms in addition to live action, including motion graphics, 2D animation and interactive infographics.
