With experience in Canada and the USA, Alison has worked as a Publicity Director and PR/ Unit Publicist with Telefilm Canada, Shaftesbury and various independent productions. She has also worked as a Senior Producer with eOne and BET, and Production Manager with the Canadian Film Centre. Since 2021, she has added Story Editor and Cultural Consultant to her skill set. Alison speaks French and Spanish, holds an MBA and a master's degree in journalism, and runs Rephrase Filmworks - a production and development house for stories by and about women of colour.
