When I moved to Vancouver from Botswana, I was armed with my Science Degree and an expectation I would find a career in my field. A decade later as a film professional in both network television and feature films, I have come to not only appreciate the process of telling stories, but also its undeniable value.
I view story telling as a means of cultural exchange, and the screen is a powerful tool in which to ignite conversations. The themes I am interested in exploring in my creative work are shaped by my own experiences of immigration, love, family, and self-actualization. I am currently developing my directorial debut project scheduled to be shot before end of 2020.
