Jessica Grajczyk is an award-winning copywriter and all-around word nerd with 16 years of experience working with organizations and individuals to communicate their offering through accessible and compelling creative, whether the audience is listening, watching, scrolling or flipping pages.
After completing her BA Honours in Communication Studies at the University of Windsor, Jessica kicked off her career working in radio promotions in Vancouver then transitioned to freelance web copywriting with a focus on search engine optimization and blogging. After moving to Toronto on a whim, she found herself back in the radio industry, this time following in her mother’s footsteps and growing her writing porftolio to include radio ad copywriting. She moved on from radio after winning a few industry awards to become the in-house copywriter at a PR agency, where she further honed her skills in campaign ideation, social media, print, editorial, broadcast and out of home.
Jessica’s work has appeared in campaigns and content for Stiegl Beer, the Canadian Red Cross, Grand & Toy, Sodastream, Catelli Pasta, the Canadian Life & Health Insurance Association, Cognitive Systems, Netflix, TD Bank, Allergan, Shoppers Drug Mart and Audible. She is currently working on her next creative challenge: managing content and communications for a Canadian licensed cannabis producer based in Vancouver.
In her spare time, Jessica likes to cook, eat and write about food (especially pickles). She is also passionate about supporting inclusive and culturally diverse creative spaces as a board member at the Collective Bunch Society, where she defers to those with lived experience to lead the way.
