Linnea also has experience writing & directing for film and video, including her award-winning queer romcom, “Violet and June,” years of crafting educational content for UBC, and video essays exploring topics ranging from human head transplants, Epicureanism (feat. Drake), and internet porn bans.
Linnea Ritland is a settler on unceded xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waltuth) first nations lands, aka Vancouver, BC. She holds a BFA in film production from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
