Hailing from nistawâyâw (Fort McMurray), Olivia is a non-binary Two-Spirit Métis Producer, Director and Writer.
Their recent work includes Kimmapiiyipitssini: The Meaning of Empathy (Producing/Directing Mentee), homecoming (Director/Performer), The Runner (Field Producer), blue light (Director/Creator), Looking For Tiger Lily (Co-Producer/Co-Director), Nite Ride (Co-Producer/Writer/Co-Director) and The Body Remembers When The World Broke Open (Producing Mentee).
Currently, they are in development for their documentary, The Death Of The Blueberry, focusing on the loss of the wild blueberry population in nistawâyâw, and Rhinestone Cowboi, a narrative feature on Queer Michif love in Northern Alberta.

Their writings have appeared in Red Rising Magazine and The Canadian Theatre Review.
Olivia’s focus and passion in storytelling is to uplift and showcase Two-Spirit, Queer and Trans Michif and other Indigenous voices through a lens of radical self-love and empowerment.
Olivia is a member of the McMurray Métis Local 1935 and the Métis Nation of Alberta.
