Elad Tzadok

Elad is an award-winning editor and a director with the DGC. Born and raised in Israel, he moved to Vancouver where he graduated from the Film Production Program at UBC and later co-founded Scopitone Films. He has worked internationally with brands like The Michelin Guide, Lululemon and Canadian Tire and has experience working with agencies like ReThink, North Strategic, Point Blank Creative and Elevator Strategy.
Elad is a graduate of the prestigious 2018 TIFF Filmmaker Lab and his directorial work includes the narrative short 'Run', which won awards at the Leos as well as various other festivals. He is in pre-production on two projects: 'A Short Film about Wrath', and 'Requiem Terezin' which won the LA Shorts screenplay competition. As an editor, recent work includes: 'All Joking Aside' (Cinequest), 'Broil' and 'The Shipment' (TriBeca) as well as 'She Who Must Burn' (Fantasia) for maverick Canadian director Larry Kent. He also edited both seasons of The TELUS Original 'The Drive' and 'Hayashi Studio', which he produced alongside director Hayley Gray. Elad is currently in development as a co-director on the feature documentary ‘Unarchived’ for the NFB. The documentary examines historical erasure and the portrayal of diverse and racialized histories in our archives and museums.
