Elias Cherni is a filmmaker, director, and cinematographer originally from North Africa, Tunisia, and currently residing on the unceded ancestral lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Tsleil-waututh peoples, known as Vancouver.
Elias has had the privilege of collaborating with various artists throughout North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. His work reflects his deep appreciation for the diverse cultures and stories found within these regions.
Driven by a profound love for storytelling, Elias strives to create films that resonate with audiences on a human level, transcending geographical and cultural boundaries. His journey from the Mena Region to North America is a testament to the universal language of cinema and the power of artistic expression to bridge gaps and foster understanding.
