D.I. Lee has been in the media and publishing industry for 28 years. He has worked with many of the world’s leading media corporations based in Korea such as the Financial Times (UK), CNN (USA), and many more. He was a member of the FIPP, SFCC (Seoul Foreign Correspondent Club), and was invited for years as a jury for Visa the world’s top photo journalism festival in – Perpignan, France, when he was the Editorial Director of GEO-Korea. www.visapourlimage.com
He landed in Vancouver in 1999 as an immigrant. In 2004 August, he launched his own publication Korean News in Vancouver for the Korean community of 2 million in North America including 200,000 in Canada. D.I also was the Chair of Korean Media Network, an association of 5 leading Korean media companies in Vancouver.
As a member of 250 Korean Media Publishers’ Association in Korea, he is active in many projects promoting Election, Tourism, Culture, Business, etc. In 2019, he launched KNTV Productions for producing Korean TV Shows for OMNI TV and Shaw Multicultural Channel and documentary films-one of them is about COREANOS, featuring 100 years of Korean-Cubans.
