Although being biracial has brought difficult challenges in my life, (read: not fully belonging anywhere) it gave me the opportunity to ask serious questions about identity and relatability. This took me down a path of connecting with people empathetically and seeing that unity requires a beautiful diversity.
Born in the Bahamas and spending my formative years in Southern Ontario, I started earnestly pursuing photography in high school with a passion and curiosity that often found me borrowing time at the local newspaper darkroom.
